Thomas Pierceall

Thomas Joseph Pierceall, age 73 of Manitou Beach, MI passed away January 31, 2016 at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. He was born on June 15, 1942 in Detroit to the late Anthony (Tony) and Ethel J. (Galarneau) Pierceall. Tom attended Addison High School graduating in 1960. He then joined the U.S. Air Force at the Wortsmith Air Force Base in Oscoda. He then went on to be a mechanic, working and retiring from the company Rexall/Sundown. He was an active member of The American Legion. In Tom’s younger years, he enjoyed racing motocross and working at the MIS. He spent many years enjoying the company of his beloved Goffin Cockatoo (Percy). His favorite sport was NASCAR and his most recent happiness was due to the love of a very special lady friend, Jeanne. He is survived by his brother, Larry (Helen) Pierceall; daughters, Linda (Mark) Barnett and Lisa (Phil) Witte; granddaughters, Jessica Barnett, Amber (Thomas) Arnold, Amanda Witte and Heather Witte; great granddaughters, Lily and Avery Arnold; also nieces, Cassie (Nate) Hall and Artie (Jason) Friedrich. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place at a later date. The family has entrusted Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center with funeral arrangements.
