Dylan Ward

Hartford Dylan Zachary Ward, 24, passed away on Wednesday January 27, 2016 in Gastonia, NC. Born on November 12, 1991 in Glens Falls, NY he was the son of Hiram and Melissa Ward (O’Dell) Jr. Dylan attended Hartford Central Schools, graduating in the class of 2010. Dylan enjoyed listening to country music. He liked the outdoors and had a passion for cooking. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He also loved his cats, Stella and Leo. Dylan is predeceased by his father, Hiram Ward Jr; and his grandparents, Raymond C. and Eleanor Williams. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Melissa Ward and her significant other, Phillip Price; his partner, Nick D’Andrea; his grandparents, Hiram and Carol Ward Sr.; his aunts, Kelly Brown and her fiancé, John Steele, Kathy Durkee and her husband, Kevin, Roberta Szemela and her husband, Thomas, Kathleen Parks and her husband, Wallace and Georgianna O’Dell (Jones); his uncle, Matthew O’Dell and his wife Rose; his great aunt, Jody Colvin; his cousins, Justin and Seth Brown, Kyle and Ryan Durkee, Donald and Megan Sutherland and Raymond Jones IV; his brothers, Shaun Jones and Jeremiah LaBrake; his close friend, Cassidy LaBrake; as well as several great aunts and uncles.
