Louise Dory
Louise F. (Caye) Dory, 90, of Coventry, beloved wife of the late Francis “Homer” Dory passed away, Wednesday, January 27, 2016. She was born September 3, 1925 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (House) Caye. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Coventry for many years. She was a good cook and enjoyed word searches, watching her favorite T.V. shows and vacationing with her family at their cottage in Mystic "where she always had hugs and a full cookie jar waiting". She was very quiet and non judgmental. She is survived by her two children, Russel Dory and his wife Shirley and Deborah Leichner all of Coventry; her grandchildren, Justin Leichner, Tammy, Russel Jr., Matthew and his wife Karen Dory; her great grandchildren, Alec, Cassidy,Anthony, Katia and Addison Dory; and her brothers, George and Lenny Caye. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she was known by all as “Great Gram.” Besides her loving husband of more than 45 years, Francis she was predeceased by her siblings, Bub, Bill, Ralph and Peggy Caye and Arlene Cramer.
