Betty Lowery Dehaven Obituary

Betty Lowery Dehaven, 79, of Winchester, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Dehaven was born March 17, 1936 in Frederick County; the daughter of David Edward Lowery and Evelyn Rudolph Lowery. She was a caregiver for the elderly. She was a member of Winchester Church of God.

Her husbands, Okey Von Dadisman, Jr. and Garland Dehaven preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Tom Dadisman of Bismark AR, Linda Dadisman of Winchester, Diane Vanmeter of Stephens City, Jim Dadisman of Hazlet, NJ, Dan Dadisman of Gainesboro and Laura Gatto of Stephens City; numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, David Carleton Lowery, Morris E. Lowery, Kenneth R. Lowery; and sister, Elizabeth “Libby” Clevenger.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Winchester Church of God with Rev. Dr. Darrell Waller officiating. Burial will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be J.D. Dadisman, Aaron Dadisman, Danielle Dadisman, Ricky Lambert, Eric Turner, and Jim Rhodes.
