Jane Young Rudolph, 92, of Stephenson, VA died Monday, January 25, 2015 in the Winchester Medical Center. She was born April 5, 1923 in Winchester, VA; the daughter of James H. and Edna C. Polhamus. Jane married Esten O. Rudolph, Jr. June 26, 1948 in Brunswick, MD. He died October 14, 2008. Mrs. Rudolph was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Winchester, VA. She is survived by three sons, Esten O. Rudolph III of Stephenson, VA, Joseph D. Rudolph of Winchester, VA and David M. Rudolph of Bunkerhill, WV; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Carter Polhamus. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 pm-8:00p.m. on January 28, 2016 at the Jones funeral Home in Winchester, VA. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 , 11:00 am at The Church of The Good Shepherd with Pastor Vernon E. Bray officiating. Burial will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jeff Kerns, E.O. Rudolph, IV, Arthur Skiles, Chad A. Rudolph, Michael Callahan and James L. Sandefur. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeremy W. Rudolph.
