Virginia M. (Ginny) Eaton, 102, of Decatur, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Adams Woodcrest. Virginia was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 21, 1913 to the late George and Louise (Spring) Massoth. She married John Eaton on December 17, 1950; he passed away on December 13, 1994. Virginia was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Decatur and a 30 year member of the First Presbyterian Church in Manchester, Tennessee. Throughout her working career she held various clerical positions, most notably a stenographer. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Per Virginia’s request, she is to be cremated and NO services are to be held. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
