Betty Jean Niemann, age 80, of Norwood, Ohio passed away Sunday (January 10, 2016) at Jewish Hospital in Kenwood, Ohio. Born August 20, 1935 in Bristol, Tennessee she was a daughter of the late David Arlington and Verna Howard Fleenor. She had been an Ohio resident for most of her life, moving there at the age of ten and she was a 1955 graduate of Norwood High School. She had been employed at Connector Manufacturing Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Fleenor and Jackie Fleenor. In her generation, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Heeb and Tracy Niemann both of Norwood, Ohio and special friend, Shirley Anderson. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arnold King officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 PM Friday at the Shelby Hills Cemetery in Bristol, Tennessee. Those wishing to attend are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
