Kenneth Clayton Street

Mr. Kenneth Clayton Street, age 58, of Council, Virginia, passed away Monday (December 28, 2015) in a Richlands, Virginia, hospital. Born July 3, 1957 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of the late Henry Herman and Ora Bell Blankenship Street. A lifelong resident of the area, he was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a disabled coal miner formerly employed by Island Creek Coal Company.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-four years, Patty Street of the home; one son, Matthew Street and wife, Brandi of Council; four grandchildren, Olivia Street, Landon Street, Kendra Street, and Kelsey Street all of Council; four brothers, Larry Street of Rowe, Hershel Street and wife, Becky of Garden Creek, Troy Street and wife, Sandra of Abingdon, and Tracy Street of Council; two sisters, Loretta Martin and husband, Steve of Richlands and Roberta Robinson and husband, Eugene of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. James Tiller officiating. Interment will follow in the Street Cemetery at Rowe, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Russell Street, Benji Street, J.R. Taylor, Jason Austin, Justin Robinson, and Bobby Elswick.

Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers and brothers-in-law.

The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home, Thursday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
