William Ray Richardson

William “Bill” Richardson, age 85, passed away on Monday December 28, 2015 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 30, 2015 from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday December 31, 2015 at 11:00 at the Allen Chapel Church in Lena, MS. Officiating will be Bro. Bobby Tagert. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.

Bill had lived in MS since 1990 where he moved from Texas. He was Baptist in faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and canning.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas E. and Leola Richardson; three brothers, J.D. Richardson, W.L. Richardson and Thomas Edward Richardson; four sisters, Agnes Lavern McDonald, Katie Maud Wheeler, Shirley Faye Williamson and Bettie Joe Hardee. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Viola Geneil Richardson of Lena, MS; one daughter, Judy Richardson; two sisters, Imogene Steadman of Morton, MS and Kathy Harris of Sterlington, MS; a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Steadman, Bobby Torrence, Mark Torrence, Michael Wilson, Lynn Torrence, Jerry Torrence and Danny Torrence.
