Mr. James William “Jim” Taylor, age 50, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Monday (December 28, 2015) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born July 27, 1965 in Tazewell County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Leonard Curtis and Goldie Marie Baldwin Taylor. A lifelong resident of the area, he was formerly employed at E. Dillion & Company in Swords Creek, Virginia.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-one years, Patricia Diane Taylor of the home; two sons, Curtis Taylor and Brandon Taylor and wife, Kayla all of Honaker, Virginia; one granddaughter, Brynnlee Kadence Taylor of Honaker, Virginia; three brothers, Dennis Taylor of Richlands, Virginia, Ronnie Taylor and wife, Velma of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, Terry Taylor and wife, Teresa of Cleveland, Virginia, several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Jawad, Dr. Bidors, Dr. Brown, the Hospitalist Group of Clinch Valley Medical Center, and the Clinch Valley Medical Center Administration and Nursing Staff.

Memorial Service will be conducted 7:00 PM Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Dennis White and Rev. Vincent Carroll officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Reynolds, Mac Reynolds, Donnie Blankenship, Herby Newberry, Bill Cumbee, Employees of Blackford Virginia Department of Transportation, and the Employees of E. Dillion and Company.

Friends May call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00PM Wednesday.
