<p>Irene (Stafford) Lynch, 90, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Warren J. Lynch passed away peacefully on Monday, December 21, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born on April 3, 1925, in New Britain, CT and was the daughter of the late Franklin Charles and Margaret Ceceila (Touhey) Stafford. Irene was a resident of Enfield for the past 54 years. She employed for 41 years by American Eagle Financial Credit Union retiring in 1988 as the branch manager at UTC Fuel Cells in South Windsor. Irene was a communicant of St. Bernard and Holy Family Church. She is survived by two step grandchildren, Peter M. Lynch, Jr., and his wife Ruthie and Christopher and his wife Kerry; step-daughters, Jean Moriarty and Barbara Lynch, five step-great-grandchildren, and many dear friends. In addition to her husband Warren, she was predeceased by a step-son Peter M. Lynch, a brother Richard L. Stafford and a sister Margaret Stafford. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT. A funeral procession will gather at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Road, Enfield, CT. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford, CT. Memorial donations in Irene's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. </p>
