Richard Legendre

Mr. Richard (Moby) Roland Legendre, 67, of Senatobia, MS, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Mr. Legendre was born on September 25, 1948 in Manchester, NH to The Late Lucille Caza Legendre and Roger Legendre. He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army and was member of the Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who never met a stranger and was a wonderful person. He was retired from Homeland Vinyl in Birmingham, AL.

Mr. Legendre is survived by his wife of 14 years, Carolyn Legendre of Senatobia, MS; one son, Daniel Legendre (Leslie) of Senatobia, MS; one sister, Diane Compagna of Manchester, NH; three brothers, Roger Legendre of Laconia, NH, James Legendre of Sweewater, TN, and Ronald Legendre of Northport, FL; one step-daughter, Donna Mills of Leeds, AL; one step-son, Jimmy Martin of Newport, MI; and three grandchildren, Hannah Grace, Lydia Renee and Amber Rachele.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 2pm in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home. Burial will follow, with military honors, in Senatobia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday from 12-2pm.
