Louise Wooten Lequire Obituary

Louise Wooten Lequire, 85, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015.


Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late Roy Benjamin Wooten and Myrtle Sorrells Wooten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Harley” Lequire and one sister, Mildred Rosanne Saunders. Louise enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.


She is survived by three children, Donnie Lequire and wife Pam, Wanda Corbin and husband Pinkney all of Franklin and Mike Lequire and wife Debbie of Severville, TN; one brother, Rev. William Wooten of Franklin; two sisters, Margie Lequire and Virginia Sanders both of Franklin; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.


Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Gary McCoy will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery


The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 4th at Macon Funeral Home.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
