Omelia (Meg) Thomas Woulard, died peacefully at Forwood Manor Nursing Home, on November 21, 2015 in Wilmington, Delaware at the age of 89 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Thomas of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Omelia was born on September 4, 1926 in Mississippi to George and Mary Lee Woulard.
She attended schools in Mississippi. She worked as a domestic worker for families and then as a nurses aide caregiver until her retirement.
Omelia was a generous giver and loved her family. She was funny and known to say whatever was on her mind.
She loved football and baseball. Her favorite football team were the Pittsburg Steelers and her favorite baseball team were the Philadelphia Phillies.
Omelia is survived by one older sister, Irene Bryant who is 98 years old; nephews, Harry Bryant (Dianna) and Charles Woulard all of New York; cousins, Joan Lewis, Vera Gladney, William Gladney, III (Tamara), Brian Gladney( Tracey) and Michele Gladney.
