Leonard "Joe" Joseph Pember Jr.

PEMBER, Leonard Joseph Jr. - Joe passed away at L.H.S.C. University Hospital on Sunday November 22nd, 2015 in his 54th year. Beloved husband of Bonnie Guthrie. Loving father of Andrew (Corey Smith) Pember, Josh (Matthew) Pember, Ashley Schwarz, and Dean Schwarz. Loved son of Alice M. Pember (nee Pellow) and the late L. Joseph Pember (2002). Dear brother of Heather (Duncan Gilman) Pember and Jay (Kathy) Pember. Loved son-in-law of David and Karen Guthrie. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Joe started working at Woodstock Ambulance in 1977 eventually becoming the Chief of Oxford County Paramedic Services in 2009. Joe was on the board of Ontario Association of Paramedic Chiefs. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday November 26th, 2015 from 7-9 pm and again on Friday November 27th, 2015 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Woodstock District Community Complex - Goff Hall, 381 Finkle Street, Woodstock, on Saturday November 28th, 2015 at 3:00pm.
