Tammy Lee (Kobialka) Freshcorn, 52, passed away the afternoon of Saturday, November 21, 2015 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born on May 10, 1963 in New Castle, PA, she was a daughter of Marion Thompson Kobialka of New Castle and the late Benny Kobialka.

Tammy worked as a caregiver for many families. She was a devoted wife and loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, gambling, and going on cruises. She was an avid Steelers fan and a member of the Salvation Army Church.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Benny Kobialka, and sister, Bonnie Knight. Tammy is survived by her mother, Marian Kobialka of New Castle; husband, Freeman (JR) Freshcorn of New Castle; sons, John Kobialka and wife Amber and James Reid III and wife Melissa, all of New Castle; stepson, Chaz Freshcorn of New Castle; brothers, William Kobialka and Timothy Kobialka, both of New Castle; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many.

There are no calling hours planned. Memorial services will be conducted Friday at 1:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St, officiated by Captain Christopher Williams of Salvation Army Church.
