Laura A. DeSimone, 63, of Union Township, passed away the evening of November 18, 2015 at her residence. Born on March 22, 1952 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Mary Carol Whitla Peluso of New Castle and the late Ralph (Duke) Peluso.

Laura worked as a Manager of Customs Compliance for Steellite. Prior to working there, she worked for UPS Supply Chain Solutions. She was a member of St. Vitus Church. Laura enjoyed travelling, gardening, and shopping, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.

In addition to her mother, Laura is survived by her daughter, Alicia Ross and husband David of Moon Township, PA; sisters, Lynn Seitz and husband Dennis of Norcross, GA, Gina Colangelo and husband Tom, and Barbara Nicholson and husband Tim, all of New Castle; and grandsons, Zachary and Vincent.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Monday at 9:15am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Vitus Church, officiated by Father Frank Almade, pastor.

Interment will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
