Barbara Ann Brown Grayson 87, of Demopolis Passed away peacefully on Nov.17,2015, at Woodhaven Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday Nov. 20, 2015, at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bill Gileason offciating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

She was born Jan. 6, 1928, in Ringsted,Iowa to Dr. James Ray and Mary Foley Reid Brown.

She was preceded by her parents, Father of her children, Charles Gordon Grayson; brother, James Ray Brown Jr. "Pinky".

Survivors are her daughters, Charlotte Owens (Bob) of Demopolis and Beverly Evans (Mike) of Gallion; son, John L. "Fat Cat" Grayson (Lou Ann) of Spanish Fort; Sister, Marilyn Brown Hairston of Gainesville, Fl.; grandchildren, Michelle Gunter (Wade) of Gardendale, Ruth Owens of Horn Lake, Ms., James Owens of Demopolis, Sara Minton (Matt) of Highland, N.C., Stephanie Heffner (Karl) of Safety Harbor, Fl., Kimberly Cothran (Michael) of Atlanta, Ga.,Robert "Bud" Grayson of Spanish Fort ; great-grandchildren, Grace Gunter, Robert Gunter, Emma Minton, John Heffner, Jacob Heffner, Grayson Heffner, Coleman Heffner and Baine Cothran.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Bell, Andy Dukes, James Mackin, Scott Kirkpatrick, George Davis and David Coddington.
