James Lloyd Barnett Jr. 72, of Demopolis, passed away Nov. 12, 2015, at Bryan W. Whitfield Hospital. <br><br>Mr. Barnett was born Nov. 25, 1942, in Jemison, Al., to James Lioyd and Clara Mae Barnett.<br><br>He was preceded by his parents, wife, Donna Wesseldine Barnett; brother, John Barnett; sisters, Jessie Moore, Martha Shotts and Joyce Hoggle<br><br>He is survived by his loving companion, Jennie Crowder; daughters, Teresa Smalley (Bruce) and Melesa White (Travis); sons, Gene Crowder III; sister-in-law, Linda Barnett; grandchildren, Cody, Jenna-Kate and Garrette Bell, Shelby, Christopher, and Colby Smalley; a host of nieces and nephews.<br><br>Service will be held 11 a.m. Wed. Nov.18,2015, at Kirk Funeral Home Demopolis Chapel with the Rev. Mike Bush Officiating. Visitation will held one hour prior to the service.Obituary
