Ferrell E. Self Obituary
Ferrell E. Self 93, of Gallion, passed away peacefully at his residence. Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 17, 2015, at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Tony Antonelli officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.
Mr. Self was born July 25, 1922, in Woodbury, Georgia, to the late Buril F. and Jakie L. Morgan Self.
He was preceded by his parents, 1st wife, Mary Mallory Self; 2nd wife, Elanor Bush Self; sisters, Lois Reynolds and Eleanor Self ; brothers, Cecil and Wilbur Self.
He is survived by a daughter, Rebecca S. Daniels (William) of Tuscon, Az.; sons, Donald M. Self (Judy) of Gallion, Al., and Christopher M. Self (Ginger) of Selma; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of the Linden St. Albans Lodge 22 and Demopolis Lodge 49 of the Free Accepted Masons of Alabama.
In lieu of flowers make donations to ABBA Shrine Transportation Fund C/O MCSA, 211 South Main Street, Linden, Al., 36748, Attn: Scott McClure.
