Virginia Gertrude Wade

Virginia Gertrude Wade joined her beloved husband, Irving Wade, in eternal peace on November 12, 2015 after a full and loving 94 years of life. She was born on November 24, 1920 in Rockaway Beach, Long Island, New York to Eric and Gertrude (Baillie) Persson and was predeceased by a brother, Albert. Virginia was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Anchor Chapter 607, Long Island, NY, the Green Lane Marlborough Lioness Club, and the East Greenville Senior Citizens Center. Virginia worked at Pillsbury for 16 1/2 years before retiring in 1978. She enjoyed traveling the world, visiting with friends, and trips to the beach. Her greatest happiness was spending time and making memories with her son Eric Wade of Alburtis, daughter Janet Wagler, wife of John Wagler of East Greenville, four grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She was known by many family and friends as Nana, Ginny or Jeanie and will forever be in their hearts.<br>Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 17 at 11:00 AM at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville. Friends may call from 10- 11 AM at the church. <br>In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Green Lane Marlborough Lioness Club.
