James L. Hetrick

James L. Hetrick, 74, of Annville, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015, at his home with his loving family by his side. <br> Born on Mitchel Field Air Force Base, NY, on October 3, 1941, he was the son of the late James Walter and Olive Mae Thomas Hetrick. <br> Jim retired after 32 years of service as a mechanic in the Confectionary Department of the Hershey Chocolate Factory. He was a member of the Brookville High School Class of 1959. Jim was an U.S. Army veteran. He was the Past Treasurer of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #831 of Campbelltown, and Squadron #72 of Palmyra; and was a member of the American Legion Post 831, Campbelltown. Jim was also a member of the Chocolate Workers Union Local 464. Bowling was his favorite past-time having bowled a perfect game of 300. He also loved to play golf and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fan. <br> Jim is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Patricia A. Barnhart Hetrick, whom he married on June 21, 1985; two sons, Michael S. Hetrick, and Andrew J. Hetrick husband of Shael both of Lebanon; one daughter, Lisa A. Evans of Lebanon; one step-son, David L. Moyer of Grantville; his Bonus Son, Corey D. Hetrick husband of Jen of Lebanon; two brothers, John and Jerry; one sister, Jan; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.<br> In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Hetrick.<br> Private services will be held at the convenience of his family.<br> Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc, 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.<br> Online condolences may be shared at www.trefzandbowser.com.<br>
