Caroline S. Reinking, 69, of Decatur, IN, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at 9:49 a.m. on November 10, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital. She was born on July 25, 1946 in Decatur, IN, to William R. and Betty L. (Irwin) Crone. On January 25, 1964, she married Larry K. Reinking.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Decatur, where she was active in many church organizations. She was a N.E. Indiana Pageant Coordinator and was also involved in the Junior Women of Decatur. Caroline worked as a Raymond James Representative for Salin Bank in Ft. Wayne.

Caroline was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a wonderful friend to many people.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry K. Reinking of Decatur; a daughter, Jennifer A. Reese of Huntertown; a grandson, Jon P. Reese of Huntertown; her parents, Bill & Betty Crone of Decatur; a brother, Bill (Sandy) Crone of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey K. Reinking on March 2, 2015.

At Caroline’s request, cremation will take place prior to visitation and services.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Haggard – Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 14, 2015, with Pastor James Voorman presiding. Visitation will also be held 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at a later time.

Memorials may be made to the Hope Clinic or A.C.C.F. Angel Cancer Fund.
