Vanas James Hoyle

Vanas Hoyle, age 84, Flint, Michigan passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Medilodge of Grand Blanc, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Mr. Hoyle was a native of Unicoi County but had lived in Flint, Michigan for years. He was a son of the late Spencer and Ethel Chandler Hoyle. Mr. Hoyle retired from General Motors Corporation. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Grady Hoyle and Robert Hoyle; four sisters: Una Blankenship, Delia Hoyle, Edna Davis and Vera Carter. <br><br>Mr. Hoyle leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Loetta Thompson Hoyle of Flint, Michigan; one brother, Hual Hoyle of Flag Pond; three sisters: Verl Stephenson, Shirley Fender and Phyllis Hoyle all of Erwin; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Hoyle, Johnson City; two special friends, Robert and Dianna Pringle. Several nieces and nephews also survive.<br><br>The family will receive friends Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 11:00 A. M. until the hour of service at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Bill Ponder will officiate at the 12:00 P. M. funeral service. Music will be provided by Inez Chandler. Interment will follow in the Clear Branch Cemetery.
