Melissa Dawn McIntosh age 36, daughter of Vernon and Tammy McIntosh of Waco, was called home to be with the Lord, Friday Nov. 6, 2015. Melissa was a loving mother, daughter, and friend. She had a big heart and loved helping people in need; she had a strong faith in God and enjoyed attending the Waco Pentecostal Church. Melissa spent many years employed at Pattie A Clay Hospital working in the mammography department.
Melissa was preceded in death by her infant daughter Rachel Blair Smith, her paternal grandparents Vernon and Ruth McIntosh, and great grandparents James and Bertha Adams and Harvey and Jesse McIntosh.
Melissa is survived by her parents Vernon and Tammy McIntosh, her children: Kaylie Smith and Vernon Daniel Milliken,her sister and best friend Amanda McIntosh, her maternal grandmother Vicky Adams Lakes, her niece Emily Ruth White, and nephew Elijah Potter, special aunt Donna Cottrill and many loving and supportive aunts, uncles and cousins.
