Franklin Hilbon Hynes

HIlbon Hynes, age 66, a resident of Forest, MS passed away on Wednesday October 7, 2015 at his home. Visitation will be held on Friday October 9, 2015 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Officiating will be Bro. Joey Smith and Bro. Duran Jenkins. Burial will be in the Leesburg Church of Christ Restored Cemetery in Morton, MS. Wolf Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Hynes had lived in the Steele Community for the past 20 years formerly living in Morton, MS. He was a member of the Steele Baptist Church in Forest, MS. Mr. Hynes was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin “Coot” and Margie Cumberland Hynes; sister, Biddie Mae Hynes; daughter, Martha Hynes. He is survived by two daughters, Cassandra Walsh and husband Sean of Florence, MS, Melinda Covington and husband Wesley of Pearl, MS; one son, Franklin “Frankie” Hynes, Jr. and wife Sharon of Byram, MS; three sisters, Mary Bailey and husband John of Forest, MS, Cathy Hynes and husband Ed of Carthage, MS, Marie Franklin and husband Kenneth of Forest, MS; one brother, Dee Hynes and wife Emily of Morton, MS; six grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Earnest Speed, Dale King, Tom Cooper, Glynn Edwards, David Sharp, Barry Sharp, Jason Mitchell, Keith Warren, Jeff Floyd and Steve Floyd.
