Mary Templin

Mary M. Yeagley Templin, 91, of Hummelstown, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hershey on March 17, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Florence Palmer Yeagley. Mary retired from the H.B. Reese Candy Company where she worked in the packing department. She was a member of the former Brethren in Christ Church. Mary enjoyed sewing, making tablecloths, cross stitching, and cooking. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Templin on March 5, 1979. She is survived by her loving children, Joyce A. King of Palmyra, Joseph R. Templin, Jr. husband of Janet L. of Palmyra, Larry E. Templin husband of Kathy F. of Hummelstown, Ronald E. Templin husband of Wilma J. of Hummelstown, Donald E. Templin husband of Tammy R. of Harrisburg, and Marlin R. Strawser of Hummelstown; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 1 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. Dan Caldwell, of Homeland Hospice, officiating. Friends will be received for the viewing Thursday in the funeral home from 12 Noon until time of the services. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way, Suite 115, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
