Lorine R. Sandridge, 89, of Clear Brook, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Sandridge was born September 8, 1926 in Winchester; the daughter of William F. Russell and Irene Feathers Russell. She had retired from National Fruit Products. She was a member of Winchester Church of God. She married Daniel L. Sandridge on February 24, 1945. Mr. Sandridge preceded her in death on September 19, 1962. She is survived by her children, Carol S. Haymaker and her husband, Clarence of Clear Brook, Daniel L Sandridge, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Winchester and Donna Messick and her husband Steven of Winchester; her sisters, Vivian Hansberger of Middletown, VA, Patsy Sirk and her husband Robert of Winchester and Shirley Moreland and her husband Robert of Clear Brook; eight grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, William Edward Sandridge; her brothers, William F. Russell, George V. Russell and Landon M. Russell; and sisters, Treva Milburn, Yvonne Benner, Gretna Jenkins and Orpha Carinelli. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Winchester Church of God with Dr. Darrell Waller officiating. Burial will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jeff Haymaker, Chris Messick, Danny Messick, Stephen Peyton, Michael Ambrose and John Felty. Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W.
