Steven Randall Richardson age 66 of Berea, Kentucky went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the U.K. Medical Center. Steven was born in Fulton County, Illinois to Calvin and Wanda Flowers Richardson. He was a machinist at International Harvester in Canton, Illinois and was a Navy Corpsman in Vietnam. He was a member of Church on the Rock and a councilman for the Assembly of God. Steven was preceded in death by his father Calvin Richardson and one grandson Brent Andrew Richardson. He is survived by his wife Cheryl Viars Richardson, his mother Wanda Richardson, his children Ben (Carmen) Richardson, Mark (Kathy) Richardson, Heather Richardson, and Caleb Reed, his grandchildren Justin Richardson, Sarah Richardson, Melissa (Matthew) Crowe, Aaron (Monica) Baker, Steven Richardson, Macey Richardson, Tamyra Richardson, Elysha Campbell, Brandon Fletcher, Jeremiah Creech, Jayna Richardson, Sylas Richardson and Landon Reed, five great grandchildren and expecting two more by the end of the year. He also leaves behind two special “grandchildren” Alexus and Tyland Dunn and four siblings Dale Richardson, Bill Richardson, Mary Orwig and Cynthia McCombs. Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Church on the Rock with Rev. Mark Sarver officiating. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-9 pm at the church. Pallbearers will be Aaron Baker, Justin Richardson, Steven Richardson, Brandon Fletcher, Matt Crowe and Kevin Jones.
