Debra Ann Shaw, 59, of Clarksburg, passed away at 5:30am, Sunday, September 6, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Riverside, CA, May 9, 1956, a daughter of Nancy Robertson Roth and the late Howard Gable. On August 8, 1974, she married James E. Shaw, Sr., who preceded her in death on July 7, 2007. Also surviving are four children, James E. Shaw, Jr., Clarksburg, Christopher P. Shaw and his wife Joanie, Wallace, Laura J. Shaw, Clarksburg, Kayla M. Shaw, Clarksburg, eight grandchildren, Madison and Tori Shaw, Logan and Kylee Shaw, Alexa and Colby Gump, Cadi Crites, and Hailey Piercy, two brothers, Howard Lee Gable, Jr., Washington, DC, David A Gable and his wife Wanita, NC, one sister, Kimberly Lynn Mayfield, TX, nieces Chelsea and Chloe Wozna, nephew, David Alan Gable, Jr., great-nephew Aric Wozna, her mother-in-law, Betty Shaw, Wallace, brothers-in-law, Rodney Shaw and his wife Clara, Jane Lew, Steve Shaw and his wife Shelba, Wallace, Paul Shaw, Jr. and his wife Michelle, Mt. Clare, Billy Shaw and his wife Debbie, Wallace, Jeff Shaw and his wife Bridget, Fairmont, sisters-in-law, Evelyn Mileto and her husband Joe, Wallace, Roberta Owens and her companion Randy Butcher, Lumberport, Mary Ann Reynolds, Clarksburg, Janie Gowans and her husband Boone, Meadowbrook. Debra was also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Lynn Gable, father-in-law, Paul Shaw, Sr., brother-in-law, Mark Reynolds, sister-in-law, Angie Shaw, nephew, Timmy Shaw, a niece who was like a daughter, Michelle Mollohan. Deb was a Pentecostal by faith and had her heart in southern gospel. She enjoyed singing for the Lord. She was a wonderful hostess for family reunions and Christmas Eve dinners for many years. She had a love for children and her home was open to all. She raised and cared for many nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She enjoyed crocheting, singing, reading, and watching movies. Deb was the kind of person who, if she liked you, she had your back. Her love for her husband, Children, and grandchildren outshined the sun. The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 2-8pm, Wednesday where funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, September 10, with Pastor Steve White officiating.
