Frederick O. Anderson, 85, of Stephenson, died Friday, September 4, 2015 at his home Mr. Anderson was born May 29, 1930 in Frederick County; the son of the late Edgar Paul and Ella Elizabeth Anderson. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired after 37 years from Abex Corporation as a machine operator. Freddy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ethel “Dolly” Anderson of Stephenson; his sister Helen Printz of Winchester; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Catherine Swartz, Betty Hartman, Barbara Berry; and a brother, Paul Anderson. He loved his four legged companion, Rennie. He enjoyed turkey hunting, camping, antique collecting, metal detecting and NASCAR racing. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
