Thelma Louise Guenthardt
Thelma Louise Guenthardt, Age 89 of Wellston died Thursday afternoon September 3, 2015 at the Manistee County Medical Care Facility. She was born on January 1, 1926 in Marion, Ohio the daughter of the late Lawrence & Venus Marie (Johnson) Allen. She married Walter M. Guenthardt on June 21, 1947 at the Manistee United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on October 27, 1999. Thelma’s favorite pastime was playing bingo. She enjoyed nature, especially her flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed square dancing. Survivors include her daughter; Lauren (Buck) Jensen of Irons, three grandchildren; Matthew D. Hoeh, Sr. of Wellston, Lori Klingelsmith of Bozeman, Montana, & Jody (Brent) Kenyon of Grand Rapids, eight grandchildren, two brothers; Edward (Betty) Allen and John (Caroline) Allen all of Manistee. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was also preceded in death by her son; Dennis W. Guenthardt, a daughter; Deborah Klingelsmith, a brother; Junior Allen, and a sister; Jenny Staff.
