John Stitt, 87, of Irwin, PA, formerly of Winter Road in New Castle, passed away the afternoon of August 31, 2015 in UPMC Monroeville. Born on September 29, 1927 in Lawsonham, PA, he was the son of the late Jesse J. and June Craig Stitt.

John retired from LTV Steel.

John is survived by his sons, Alan Stitt of Irwin, PA and Leslie Stitt of Somerset, PA, and his significant other, Mary Heath of Irwin, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Stitt and Owen Stitt.
