Sherlie M. Walters, 58, of rural Decatur, died at her residence on Monday, August 31, 2015. Sherlie was born in Bluffton, IN to the late Francis E. and Vera M. (Krick) Jamison. On October 30, 1982 she married Charles F. Walters. Sherlie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble. She was a Tool Designer at C.T.S. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Charlie Walters of Decatur; son, Matthew Walters of Fort Wayne; daughter, Amanda (Kyle) Bluhm of Monroe; brother, David Jamison of Angola; two sisters, Darline (Carl) Nahrwold of Leo and Deb (Brian) Bultemeier of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Hilton, Navy and Harmon. She was also preceded in death by a brother Bobby. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral and from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble, with The Rev. Dr. Daniel Brege officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery. Memorials are to St. Paul Lutheran Church or A.C.C.F. Angel Cancer Fund.
