<p>James W. Cooper, 70, of Edinburg, PA, passed away the afternoon of August 28, 2015 at his residence. Born on April 9, 1945 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Paul and Frances McCullough Cooper. </p><p><br></p><p>James had worked as a security guard. He enjoyed music. </p><p><br></p><p>James is survived by his children, Susan Bable, Sheila Cooper, and James Cooper, all of New Castle; brother, Paul Cooper of Edinburg, PA; sister, Nancy Stanley of New Castle; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Cooper. </p><p><br></p><p>Honoring his wishes, there are no calling hours planned, and services are private.</p>April 9, 1945 - August 28, 201504/09/194508/28/2015
