Pauline Peters Obituary

Pauline E. “Polly” Peters, 72, of Milesburg, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on April 16, 1943, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Paul D. and Margaret B. Howard Lose, Sr. On January 9, 1952, she married Robert J. Peters, Sr. who passed away on January 30, 2007. Polly attended the Bellefonte Schools. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Watermarke Church in Bellefonte. Polly loved to decorate for all the holidays. She enjoyed going to yard sales and finding bargains. She loved going to the Grange Fair. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Polly is survived by her children; Robert J. Peters, Jr. and his wife, Theresa, of Port Matilda, Tina E. Prisk of Marsh Creek, Jeffrey A. Peters, of Milesburg, and Todd J. Peters and his wife, Stephanie, of Milesburg. Also surviving are her three brothers; Dan Lose and his wife, Judy, of Centre Hall, Scott Lose of Bellefonte, Randy Lose and his wife, Louise, of Howard, two sisters; Joyce Anderson and her husband, Rick, of Bellefonte, and Kay Davison and her husband, Barry, of Ennis, TX , 10 grandchildren; Cory Peters, Megan Peters, Ashely Addleman, Brittany Peters, Morgan Peters, Madison Peters, Makenzie Peters, Kendra Prisk, John Prisk and Andy Prisk, three great grandchildren; Colter Peters, Hunter Prisk, and Alexis Peters and last but not least, her faithful k-9 companion, Raleigh. Along with her parents and husband, Polly was preceded in death by her step-mother, Helen Lose, and three brothers, James Kellander, Sonny Lose and Terry Lose. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 6-8pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W. Sycamore St. Snow Shoe. Funeral services will be on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 10am, at the funeral home with Pastor Timothy Yates officiating. Private burial will be at Eagle Cemetery, Boggs Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Watermarke Church, 210 E. Howard St. Bellefonte, PA 16823 or to the American Cancer Society, 1375 Martin St #206, State College, PA 16803. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W.
