Frances Leonard

Frances Breckenmaker Leonard, 72, of Hummelstown, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015, in Arden Courts of Susquehanna. Born in Hershey, on January 19, 1943, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Ruth Miller Breckenmaker. Frances was employed by Nationwide Insurance in their Claims Department. She was a 1960 graduate of the former Hummelstown High School. Frances was a member of Sherks Church Meeting House, Annville. She was a ferocious gardener, avid reader, and liked taking walks. Frances was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; she will deeply missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Roy Leonard on July 21, 2012. She is survived by a son, David L. Leonard husband of Patrice A. of Enola; a daughter, Vicki L. Daniels of Hershey; a sister, Diane B. Baten of Middletown; three grandchildren, Jeremy D. Leonard of Enola, and Miranda R. Daniels and Claire F. Daniels both of Hershey; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at 2 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. Allen F. Helwig, her pastor, officiating. Inurnment will be in the Hummelstown Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home Wednesday from 1 PM until time of the service.
