Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Price, age 45, of the Lynn Springs section of Swords Creek, Virginia, passed away Thursday (August 20, 2015) at her home. Born December 8, 1969 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a daughter of Nettie Kathern Perkins Price of Swords Creek and the late Charlie Baskim Price. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a 1988 graduate of Honaker High School and was a member of the Church of the Living God in Honaker, Virginia. She was a stay at home mom and enjoyed going to church and the lake with her family. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her fiancé, Tommy Reedy, maternal grandparents, Charlie Harrison and Mallie Magdalene Perkins, and paternal grandparents, James Oliver and Sadie Martha Price. In addition to her mother, survivors include two sons, Christopher Allen Whited of the home and Dustin Allen Whited of Lebanon, Virginia; one sister, Melissa Ann Culbertson and husband, Jim of Bristol, Tennessee; one brother, Charlie Price and wife, Kristy of Swords Creek; one nephew, Cody Price; one niece, Emily Price; special cousin, Anita Hess; special friend, Diane Mann; and her faithful dog, BoJack. The family would like to extend at special thank you to Ramona Boyd, FNP and the Staff of Community Medical Care in Hansonville, Virginia. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Jackie Fields and Rev. Arnold Street officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Sunday at Glenford Mountain Cemetery in Swords Creek, Virginia. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 10:30 AM to go in procession. Pallbearers will be Christopher Whited, Dustin Whited, Cody Price, Charlie Price, Jerry Monk, and Adam Price. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Breedlove, Randy Dye, Bryan Hess, and Anthony Price.
