Michael James Heflin, 66, of Winchester, died Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center. Mr. Heflin was born August 24, 1948 in Winchester; the son of Harold W. Heflin and Marie Ashcraft Heflin Orndoff. He retired from Rubbermaid. He was a member of Victory Church, The Royal Rangers of First Assembly of God and The Potomac District of the Assemblies of God. He is survived by his son, Michael James Heflin, II and his wife Tracy of Bunker Hill, WV; his grandsons, Michael Derek Heflin and Joshua Caleb Heflin. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Katherine Burke, Jean Russell and Joan Luttrell and his brother, David Heflin. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Winchester with Rev. David Cunsolo officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hebron Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael D. Heflin, Joshua C. Heflin, Bruce Elliott, Robert Russell, Sylvester Harris and Terry Myers. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Elliott, Shane Elliott, Robert Russell, II, Edward Watring, Paul Coffelt and the ushers at Victory Church.
