Joyce Doreen Haynes, age 86, of Milford passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 in Milford Hospital. She was born on July 23, 1929 in Bridgetown, Barbados. Before retiring, she was a nurse’s aide in Port Chester Nursing Home in New York. A devoted and dedicated mother, she is survived by her loving children Tyrone Haynes of Orlando, FL, Rosita Haynes-Brathwaite of Bronx, NY, Dieghton Haynes of Toronto, Canada, Arundell Haynes of Hollywood, FL and Lorraine Keesler of Mt. Vernon, NY, twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Calling hours are Friday, August 21, 2015 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm with a prayer service following the visitation at 6:00pm at Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment will be private.
