Forrest Junior Custer

Forrest Junior Custer, 86, of Winchester passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015 in the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.

Mr. Custer was born on December 28, 1928, in Shenandoah Junction, WV, the son of the late Forrest and Fannie Custer. He was a veteran in the Korean War. He worked for Supertane Gas Company in Martinsburg, WV until his retirement in 1990. Forrest was a life time member of the Moose Lodge in Winchester. He was a member of the Ritual Team and was honored with the Pilgrim Degree. Forrest loved fishing and spent much of his free time with his buddies on the river.

Forrest married Eva Walker on April 30, 1958, in Hagerstown, Md.

Along with his wife, Eva, he is survived by his son, Jeffrey Custer of Winchester; his brother, Granville Custer of Dale City and his sister, Myrtle Rauch of Florida.

A funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester with Ryan Heath officiating.
