Elizabeth Faye Lee Anderson 77, of Tuscaloosa, passed away Aug 16, 2015, at her residence.Services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday Aug 18, 2015, from Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel with Rev. Ed Pickle officiating.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will follow the service. Ms. Anderson was born March 10,1938, in Pleasant Ridge, Al., to Robert Eugene and Leola Andrews Lee. Ms. Anderson was preceded by her parents, Robert Eugene and Leola Andrews Lee; husband, Herold Dean Anderson; sisters, Rachel Lee Mayers and Lillian Lee Turner; nephew, Andy Mayers. Ms. Anderson is survived by her brother, Jack Lee of Hepzibah, Ga.; brother in law, Mike (Judy) Waugh of Upton, Ky.; nieces and nephews, Wade (Donna) Turner of Coatopa, Melanie (Bill) York of Faunsdale, Jack Lee of Tuscaloosa, Paula Mayers (Myles) Marques of Tuscaloosa, Lydia Turner (Rodney) Buroker of Gallion, Terri Lee (David) Craxton of Waynesboro, Ga., Vicky Lee (Wayne) Wingrove of Hepzibah, Ga., Missy Turner Ward of Tuscaloosa; 20 great nieces and nephews to include Samuel Marques and Paul Marques of Tuscaloosa, Al.; 24 great-great nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Barbara Stradlin, Marie Johnson, Donna Jones, Donna Coussemen, Vivian Gailes, Betty Watson, Tekla Rex, Mary Ann Pickle, Rosie McDonald, Peggy Elliott, Berniece Rowen, Pete Vawters, Steven McDonald, Brian Murphy, Dr. Ross Vaughn, Dr. Gary Newsom and Dr. John Crew. Ms. Anderson was a 1957 graduate of Demopolis High School and a 1960 graduate of DCH School of Nursing.She served as a Register Nurse for 42 years and retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky.
