Helen J. Lucas, 73, of Shinnston, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at the United Hospital Center. She was born in Enterprise, July 18, 1942 a daughter of the late Franklin Earl and Gladace Leota Fancher Radabaugh. On October 8, 1963, she married Franklin “Frank” Delana Lucas who preceded her in death on December 4, 1999. Surviving are 11 children, Frank Lucas, Shinnston, Robert Lucas and his wife Dorthy, Gypsy, Laura Powell and her husband Robert, Shinnston, Steve Lucas, Clarksburg, Mark Lucas, Lumberport, Dwayne Lucas and his wife Shannon, Clarksburg, Shannon Yeager and her husband Gene, Gypsy, Melissa Lucas, Clarksburg, Allen Lucas and his wife Glenda “Fuzzy”, Lumberport, Brian Lucas, Shinnston, Eric Lucas, Shinnston, 26 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, several step grandchildren, two brothers, Jack Radabaugh, Claude Radabaugh, both of Shinnston, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by four brothers. Helen was a homemaker and a faithful member of Jewel City Church, Shinnston. She enjoyed eating ice cream, cooking, fishing with her husband, and sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee. Helen loved the Lord, her family, and Church family. The family will receive friends at Jewel City Church, 305 Haywood Rd., Shinnston, from 1-8pm, Thursday, where funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday with Pastor Robert Shingleton officiating.
