Millinocket – Linda G. Wasilauskis, 66, known as “Mrs. W.”, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at her home. She was born July 16, 1949 in Millinocket, the daughter of Clarence and Lucille (Noddin) Gagnier. Linda grew up in Millinocket, and was a school teacher at Stearns High School for 13 years before retiring 2 years ago, and continued working as a substitute teacher until her death. Mrs. W was dearly beloved by all her students and friends. In addition to her mother, Linda leaves behind her siblings, Frank Gagnier, Kathryn Gifford, Tim Gagnier, and Pat Gagnier; step children Amy and Kevin Wasilauskis; Amanda Dickinson, who Linda loved as a daughter; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Michael Alley, her son Trevor Alley, and her father. A memorial service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, August 15 at the First Congregational Church of Millinocket, 274 Katahdin Avenue, Millinocket, with Linda’s friend, Rev. Terry Given, pastor, officiating.
