Rube Abrams 75 of Jackson County passed away Wednesday August 5, 2015 at the Owsley County Health Care Center. He was born in Madison County, Kentucky to the late Roscoe and Pearl Gatliff Abrams. He was a construction worker and U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his siblings Frances Jewell Tarvin, Charles Lee Abrams, James Marion Abrams and Leona Abbott. He is survived by four children David, Vickie, Janice, and Marie and several grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Wednesday August 12, 2015 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors.October 12, 1939 - August 5, 201510/12/193908/05/2015
