Obituary
Phyllis M. Bucker Ango, of North Beaver Township, passed away peacefully with her son and family by her side on August 10, 2015 after complications from a long term illness. She was 62 years young. Born October 9, 1952, in Ellwood City, PA, she was a strong, vibrant lady with a heart of gold.
She had a passion for people and a knack to make everyone laugh and smile. She most recently worked at K&D's Corner Stop, in Bessemer, PA, in which she previously owned as Shop-An-Go. A charitable woman, she has donated to several charities throughout the years. She enjoyed performing in the theatre, bowling, comedy, gambling, traveling, reading, cooking, music, soap operas, decorating, watching QVC/HSN, and most importantly, spending time with her dog Brody.
She leaves behind one son, Christofer Ango, and his partner Eric, of Charlotte, NC; her parents Charles and Josephine Bucker of New Castle; two brothers Carl Bucker and wife Renee of Lakeland, FL; Chuck Bucker and wife Vickie of Hermitage, PA, and sister JoAnne Bucker of Edinburg, PA. She also leaves behind several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and hundreds of friends she's made over the years. She was preceded in death by her former husband William S. Ango, Jr. and sister Carolyn Stockman.
Calling hours will be held Thursday 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Blessing services will be conducted Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home, officiated by Father Larry Adams.
She would like to be remembered as the fun-loving, funny young lady she was. Her son encourages everyone to remember and cherish their fun and memorable times with her.
