SHILTON, Paul MacGregor.
Passed away peacefully on August 7, 2015 at 85 years of age. Dearly missed by his beloved wife, Joan, of nearly 64 years, and by his sons, Peter (Heather) and Philip (Ellen), and his daughter, Wendy. Predeceased by daughters, Laurie (Barry) and Carolyn. Proud grandfather to Darren, Aaron (Kelly), Christopher (Laura), and Meredith, and great-grandfather to Nicholas, Jamie, and Camille. Remembered fondly by many extended family members and longtime friends. Respected for his leadership in Imperial Press Ltd., Dixie Kiwanis Club, Mississauga Symphony, and the Anglican Church. Passionately drawn to nature, he found contentment for more than three decades at a cottage on the French River, ON, which he shared generously.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 11th between 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. at Skinner & Middlebrook Ltd. Funeral Home on Lakeshore Blvd. Funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Erindale at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12th, followed by interment at Spring Creek Cemetery, Clarkson. Reception to follow at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Erindale. Special thanks to the caring staff of Heritage House, Silverthorn Care Community, Mississauga.
