Mr. Roy Thomas Allen April 12, 1942 – July 30, 2015 　 Mr. Roy Thomas Allen, age 73, of Griffin, GA passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Spalding Regional Hospital. Mr. Allen was born on April 12, 1942 in Griffin, GA to the late Mark Allen and the late Frankie Jean White. He was also preceded in death by his sisters May Horton, Betty Ann Jordan and Thelma Miller and brothers Eugene Moore and Donald Moore. Survivors include daughters Monica Allen and Veronica Allen; sons Mark Allen, Alvin Allen, Maurice Allen and Marcus Allen; sister Elaine Heath; brothers Floyd Allen, Freddie Moore and Charles Moore; and many other family members and friends. He is also survived by his ex-wife Lois Allen. A funeral service for Mr. Roy Thomas Allen will be conducted Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Pastor Gerod Duff will offer the eulogy. Friends may visit with the family on Friday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
