Esther Mae Duvall, 86, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at the Atkins Nursing and Care Center. She was born September 11, 1928, in Hector, daughter of the late Rufus R. and Annie Rackley Reed. Her life revolved around caring for family and going to church. Her hobbies included quilting, gardening and cake decorating. She was a member of the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers, Thomas Reed, L.C. Reed, Charlie Reed, Jesse Reed, Joe Reed and Raymond Reed; and a sister, Caroline Reed. She is survived by her husband, Burl Jack Duvall; two sons, Rickey Duvall and wife Pat, and Donnie Duvall and wife Jackie; daughter, Sandra Annette Duvall; brother, Paul Ray Reed; 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Duvall, Laura Holbrook, Rachel Ketchum, Abigail Duvall, Philip Duvall and Kevin Duvall; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 1, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. David Downum officiating. Burial is in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday. Pallbearers are Jeremy Duvall, Philip Duvall, Kevin Duvall, Matt Duvall, Lane Duvall and Ernie Holbrook.
