Henry Awise Milstead age 95 of Sweet Water, AL died July 26, 2015 at his home. He was born February 2, 1920 in Beaver Creek, AL. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with the Marengo County Road Department and a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by three daughters, Barbara Milstead Ballard, Alethanette Milstead Ballard, and Betsy Ruth Milstead of Sweet Water, AL; sister, Janie Turley of Nicholsville, AL; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Barkley Milstead. Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM service time. Burial will be in the Beaver Creek Cemetery in Sweet Water AL. Arrangements by O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville, AL.
